Coaching Services

SunUp Coaching offers specific life coaching specialities related to various life transitions. This is a values based coaching practice. YOU choose your values and what you want to represent. Together we will strategize how you can unashamedly live out your values during this transition. Most clients book multiples sessions because, well, change takes time.

Below are my life coach specialties. If you do not not see a topic or service relevant to you, contact me and we’ll see if we can make something work, or I will refer you to another professional.

Divorce

No one knows how to get divorced - it’s not a journey you hope to experience. Divorce coaching can be helpful if you’re considering divorce, if you’re in the middle of a divorce, or even years after a divorce has happened. Between what can feel like an identity shift, parenting plans, and more, I’m here to help.

And let me be clear: I am not anti-marriage; I am pro healthy relationships. The decision to stay married or end an unhealthy relationship is up to you.

Kalispell, MT

Join other women who have experienced divorce for three spectacular days in the Montana backcountry! Whether you’re in the middle of a divorce or have been divorced for years, we welcome you to join us on this special and intentional backpacking trip. No divorce story is the same, but solidarity is a powerful thing, and the mountains are an incredible landscape to experience joy, healing, and challenge by choice.

Your professional guides, Sally and Madison of Great Northern Wilderness Guides, will take care of all the backpacking logistics. They provide gear, food, an epic route, backcountry skills, dance moves, daily yoga, laughs, and more. Carrie, a certified life coach with a focus on divorce, will be there every step of the way to join in on all the backcountry fun, and also facilitate daily group coaching sessions. Carrie has also led wilderness trips, and is truly stoked to partner with Great Northern Wilderness Guides to bring her coaching services to the backcountry. But that’s not all! Every trip participant also receives six fifty minute 1:1 virtual coaching sessions with Carrie prior to the trip!

This trip is limited to ten participants, with a minimum of four. Divorce is hard. Backpacking is hard. But backpacking is freaking fun. We’d love for you to join this bad ass group of women and take intentional time for yourself to enjoy the Montana backcountry and connect with other women who have experienced divorce.

 FAQs

  • Coaching is done virtually, and we will use Google Meet.

  • Absolutely! I will never share personal or identifying information about a client with others.

  • No. Professional coaching services are not the same as a therapy session. I fully support seeking mental health services from a licensed therapist when necessary.

  • Our best work happens when we work together for multiple sessions, ideally 3-12. Change takes time, and accountability is important. Each session ends with a tangible take away, and the next session includes accountability and follow up.

  • Yes! And I’m glad you asked. I am a certified life coach through a training recognized by the International Coaching Federation. You can learn more about me on the about page. I am also a NASM-CPT, a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

  • All sessions must be paid in full prior to start. Payment is accepted via a business Venmo account (@sunupcoaching)

If you no show a life coach session without notice, you will be charged for the session. Please provide 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or modify a session.

  • YES! Life coach sessions make a great, thoughtful gift. Parents and friends have gifted coaching to others. Employers and managers: outside coaching support is a great gift!

  • Yes and no. (That’s clear, right?). All 1:1 coaching is virtual, and clients are all over the US and various time zones.

But! Keep an eye on the events section and social media because I also host local events near Hilo, Hawaii as well as Whitefish, Montana.

  • I predominately work from the Hilo, Hawaii area, so if you come to the big island we can certainly arrange to connect in person! Coaching outside or in a coffee shop is an option. Send me a message and let’s chat about a creative island coaching experience.

Whatever life season you are experiencing, it’s ok to ask for support. We are not meant to do life alone.
